Because I have been using ChaiRime (which supports mixed Chinese and English input) for a long time, but macOS always sets ABC as the default input method (at the top), which is very troublesome when typing in Chinese. I have to switch the input method to Rime first.
- Step 1: Now you can see that ABC always occupies the first position and cannot be moved or changed. At this time, we need to click the
+
button in the lower left corner.
- Step 2: Add
Hawaiian
language to the input method menu.
- Step 3: Remove
ABC
from the input method menu.
In this way, our third-party input method will become the default input method.
